Audiologist/Owner
Dr. David Ward, Au.D., is the owner of Better Hearing Audiology and the lead audiologist. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University; his master’s degree from Portland State University; and his Doctorate of Audiology degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
While working on his bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Dr. Ward learned about the field of audiology and decided to pursue a career in audiology. Now, he has been an audiologist for over 20 years and has practiced in a variety of settings, including ENT offices, private practices, and a children’s hospital. He enjoys seeing the look of surprise on a family member’s face when the patient hears a whisper for the first time in years. Dr. Ward loves being able to help people regain their hearing and communication.
Outside of work, Dr. Ward enjoys spending time with his wife and their six children.
Letty Reitz
Office Manager
Letty is our knowledgeable and friendly Office Manager. She comes to Better Hearing Audiology with over 20 years of experience in the management field. Before joining our team, she worked in an audiology clinic and in a medical equipment office. Letty has ample work history in customer service. She has always wanted to work in a field where she could use her organizational skills and have the opportunity to help people while maintaining a professional environment.
Letty has a teaching degree, a Linguistic Certification, and she is bilingual in English and Spanish. She loves working with the people who come into our office and having the opportunity to help those who could benefit from our hearing services.
Letty has one adult daughter and one teenage daughter. She enjoys spending time with them, reading, watching movies, and travelling. She also enjoys volunteering in her community.
